Alan Arris 1939-2017
Alan Arris, a long-time member of Alpheton Parish Council, and the Village Hall Commitee, sadly died in April. His funeral is at the West Suffolk Crematorium, Bury St Edmunds on Tuesday, May 23 at 1.30pm.
Alan moved to Alpheton in 1973, and together with late wife Christine, quickly became involved in village life. They were both members of the Alpheton Players, and Alan was a regular baking contributor to Coffee Pot, which Christine set up with three friends.
