"It is FTTP we are deploying in the area. This essentially means running fibre to the last pole (the DP) in the area as a standard deployment, then, when a customer then places an order, the last drop from the DP to the premises is made, and the new faceplate installed on the premises. To the end customer, you can order an FTTC-like service, or pay the extra for FTTP (330Mbps) if you wish. It really depends what the various retail providers choose to offer.
